Mapua grad tops April electronics engineer licensure exam
MANILA, Philippines - The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announced that 1,177 out of 3,163 passed the Electronics Engineer Licensure Examination given by the Board of Electronics Engineering in the cities of Manila, Baguio, Cebu and Davao this April 2013.
With a rating of 92.80%, Rimson Encanto Junio of Mapua Institute of Technology-Manila topped the April 2013 Electronics Engineer Licensure Examination followed by fellow Mapua graduate Irister Montiero Javel with a rating of 91.70%.

The University of the Philippines-Diliman was this year's top performing school with a passing rate of 84%.
Registration for the issuance of Professional Identification Card (ID) and Certificate of Registration will start on May 6, 2013. Those who will register are required to bring the following:
1) duly accomplished Oath Form or Panunumpa ng Propesyonal
2) current Community Tax Certificate (cedula)
3) 2 sets of metered documentary stamps and 1 short brown envelope with name and profession and to pay the Initial Registration Fee of P600 and Annual Registration Fee of P450 for 2013-2016.
The date and venue for the oathtaking ceremony of the new successful examinees in the said examination has yet to be announced. -Rappler.com
