PSEi barrels to 29th record high

MANILA, Philippines (UPDATED) - The Philippine Stock Exchange Index (PSEi) barreled to a new record high, closing at 7,262.38, up 0.94% or 67 point, on Friday, May 10.

This marks the 29th record high for the index this 2013.

The index pierced the 7,200 level 6 days ago when the country received its second investment grade rating from Standard & Poor's.
