Richard Poon, Maricar Reyes get married

MANILA, Philippines - Richard Poon and Maricar Reyes got married at 4 pm Sunday, June 9. Reyes, who donned a jewel-studded gown, married Poon at the Bellevue Hotel in Alabang, Muntinlupa.

Reyes first met Poon when she starred in his 2009 music video for the song "You and I."

The couple announced their relationship in 2010.

After around 3 years of what Reyes described as a "push and pull" kind of relationship, their engagement was announced in April 2013 during Poon's "Legends" album launch.

The couple said in an interview with ABS-CBN a month later that they were planning an exclusive gathering with limited guests. They also initially wanted a wedding by the sea but eventually decided against it. - Rappler.com
