‘How I Met Your Mother’ presents Mother finally

MANILA, Philippines - Fans of the popular sitcom “How I Met Your Mother” had a glimpse of the widely referenced titular character in the last seconds of Season 8.
She is portrayed by Cristin Milioti, 28, a Tony nominee for her performance in the Broadway version of “Once,” adapted from the popular 2007 Irish film.
Entertainment Weekly has an exclusive interview with Milioti, who has begun filming her scenes for Season 9, which premieres September.
The show’s creators were at first “secretive” about the mother role when they talked with Milioti, she said.
By her admission, Milioti “had never seen” the program but had since been catching up on the show.
Milioti’s performance in “Once” was also a consideration for her casting. - Rappler.com
