MANILA, Philippines – Child actor turned A-list Hollywood star Joseph Gordon-Levitt has enlisted the help of his friend Scarlett Johannson in his brand new animated short called Two Player Game, promoted by his "open collaborative company" HitRECord on Facebook.
“For this short animation, I asked my dear friend Scarlett Johansson to lend her voice…just in time for #ValentinesDay,” he wrote on his official Facebook page.
The short is part of an episode called “Re: Games,” of Gordon-Levitt’s cable TV show called HitRECord on TV. The program is a variety show of sorts featuring collaborations from artists around the world, which are presented by the star in a fresh format on TV.
In the video, Johansson lent her trademark voice, so prominent in the Academy Award-nominated Her, to the female character Olivia, who meets a cute guy named Bill at a bar. The video details the thoughts running through their minds at their first meeting, then fast forwards 6 months into their relationship.

Gordon-Levitt last worked with Johansson on Don Jon, which he starred in, directed, and wrote. In the movie, he's an Italian-American who is obsessed with pornography. His character falls for Johansson’s, and he learns a thing or two along the way about relationships.
Johansson recently made headlines for her sexy SodaStream Super Bowl commercial released this past January. The controversial ad made headlines not only for the content, but also for being the cause of conflict between Johansson and global aid group Oxfam.
