Dolphy's vital signs continue to improve

MANILA, Philippines - As of June 28, Dolphy has been cleared of pneumonia, and his metabolic encepalopathy has been ruled out.
This was the good news that Dr. Eric Nubla, director of Makati Medical Center's patient relations department, gave the media at the Thursday presscon.
The king of comedy is still undergoing blood transfusion and dialysis, but his "vital signs have continued to improve." His kidney function remains at a very low 10%.
"His medications are slowly being withdrawn," said Dr. Nubla. "The mini seizures he used to experience have stopped completely."
While Dolphy is more lucid, he is still being monitored closely because he has developed an infection due to a weak immune system.
He is still in critical condition and will be in the ICU "indefinitely."
