MANILA, Philippines – Kurei is performing on Rappler Live Jam!

The soul pop singer-songwriter originally moved to Manila from Davao to pursue a photography career – but it was her music that caught the ear of Soupstar Entertainment and Gracenote vocalist Eunice Jorge.

Since then, Kurei has signed with Universal Records Philippines and released several singles, including her debut single "Paasa," which hit the #1 spot on the Spotify Philippines Viral 50 chart.

She recently released her newest single, a cover of Francis Magalona's "Cold Summer Nights," featuring the late rapper's son Elmo Magalona.
