Playing this Week: Monsters and wrongful accusations

1. Oculus
Kaylie Russell is convinced her brother was wrongfully convicted for their parents’ murder 10 years ago. After his release from prison, Tim finds himself wrapped up in his sister’s plans to prove him innocent. She tracks down an antique mirror, which she believes contains supernatural powers that were responsible for her parents’ death. The movie, directed by Mike Flanagan, features Karen Gillan, Brenton Thwaites, Katee Sackhoff, and James Lafferty.
2. Godzilla
A fan favorite is reborn in this new action-adventure flick by Gareth Edwards. In the face of great threats against humanity, the world is rendered defenseless. Their only hope? Godzilla. Starring Bryan Cranston, Elizabeth Olsen, and Aaron Taylor-Johnson. Directed by Gareth Edwards.

When a young Amish woman begins to notice strange things happening in her village, she seeks the help of an exorcist to save them all from demonic possession.
