MANILA, Philippines - It's Jay Z. Not Jay-Z.
The rapper from New York no longer goes by a hyphen, reports tech site "The Verge."
Jay Z's label confirmed the tweaking of his name, as tweeted by Billboard editor Joe Levy. But the 43-year-old rapper who was born Shawn Corey Carter has been going without the hyphen for some time.
