Listen to Macklemore and Ryan Lewis' new song with Ed Sheeran

MANILA, Philippines – For the first time since the release of their debut album, The Heist in 2012, Macklemore and Ryan Lewis released a new song on August 5. The song, titled "Growing Up (Sloane's Song)," features British singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran.

"Growing Up" is not an official single on the group's next album, according to Billboard, but "a personal moment of expression." The song is dedicated to Macklemore's daughter, Sloane Ava Simone Haggerty, who was born two months ago on May 29.

Macklemore, whose real name is Ben Haggerty, wrote a statement on the song on the group's website, sharing his experience of fatherhood thus far. He wrote, "Half of [the song] is advice about growing up. The other half is trying to figure out how to grow up myself."
