Lea Salonga's daughter Nicole Chien joins cast of 'Matilda the Musical'

MANILA, Philippines – Nicole Chien, the daughter of Lea Salonga and Rob Chien, will make her theater debut in the Atlantis Theatrical Entertainment Group's production of Matilda the Muslcal.
Lea confirmed the news on Twitter by posting an article from theaterfansmanila.com

According to the article, Nicole will play the role of Alice. She will alternate with Ella Gonzalez. Nicole is said to have been performing in various plays since she was 5 years old. She also plays the violin in her school's orchestra. Nicole performed in her mom's show Songs from the Stages in February.
Matilda, based on the novel of Roald Dahl, stars Esang De Torres, Uma Martin, and Felicity Napuli in the title role. The show will run from November 10 to December 10 at the Meralco Theater. – Rappler.com
