MANILA, Philippines – A new trailer for Justice League was released on Sunday, October 8, showing the superheroes confronting their biggest enemy yet. (WATCH: First 'Justice League' trailer released)

The trailer sees Lois Lane (Amy Adams) still grieving over the death of Superman (Henry Cavill) as the world faces its darkest moment without their hero. (WATCH: New 'Justice League' trailer debuts at SDCC 2017)

Bruce Wayne/Batman (Ben Affleck) tells Diana Prince (Gal Gadot) that he had a dream that something dark was about to happen again. Together, they seek the help of Aquaman (Jason Momoa), The Flash (Ezra Miller), and Cyborg (Ray Fisher) to battle the enemy.

"Divided, we are not enough," Bruce told the others. "The world needs Superman, and I made him a promise, which is why I brought you together."
