Tom Holland reveals Spider-Man 2 title through Instagram post
SPIDER-MAN SEQUEL. The movie star casually reveals the sequel's title in an Instagram video. Still from 'Spider-Man: Homecoming'
MANILA, Philippines – If you've been following the Marvel cinematic universe – both on-screen and the events real life – you'd know that Tom Holland, who plays Spider-Man, is notorious for casually dropping spoilers during fan meets and media interviews.
There's even a supercut of Benedict Cumberbatch (Doctor Strange) stopping Tom from dropping spoilers for the Avengers: Infinity War during interviews and public appearances.
Leave it to Tom to strike again, however.
In an Instagram post, the 22-year-old apologized to fans because there were "no real revelations" about the sequel to Spider-Man: Homecoming. Tom then goes on to show viewers the cover of the script which bears the sequel's title – Spider-Man: Far From Home.
It's the first time the title has been revealed to the public. Tom had also apparently just gotten hold of the script.
"I don't know much about it," said Tom in the Instagram video.
** SPOILER ALERT **
"I'm a little confused because... I died," the actor added, referring to the events in Infinity War.
Tom was on the sidelines of the Ace Comic-Con in Seattle where he appeared alongside other Marvel stars including Tom Hiddleston, Anthony Mackie, and Elizabeth Olsen.
