MANILA, Philippines — Celebrities and beauty queens joined the Metro Manila Pride march on Saturday, June 29 at the Marikina Sports Complex. (READ: Despite rain, thousands march for equality in Manila's Pride parade)
Actresses Iza Calzado, Nadine Lustre, Janine Gutierrez, and photographer BJ Pascual were among those who marched in the rain. Also spotted were couples Angie and Joey Mead King, and Mari Jasmine and director Samantha Lee.
Singer Donnalyn Bartolome was also spotted waving a rainbow flag.
Binibining Pilipinas 2019 queens Patch Magtanong and Resham Saeed also joined the annual gathering. Patch, a lawyer, was spotted with bar topnotcher Sean Borja.
Morissette Amon serenaded the attendees during the event.

Radio DJ and host Sam YG was also spotted at the event.
According to the organizers, this year's Pride event, beat last year's record.
This year's theme, #ResistTogether, highlights the riots 50 years ago in New York that started when police raided the Stonewall Inn, a well known gay bar. It became the turning point for the LGBTQ+ community in the United States to fight for their rights. — Rappler.com
