In Photos: Sam Tsui, Kurt Hugo Schneider arrive in Manila

MANILA, Philippines –YouTube stars Sam Tsui and Kurt Hugo Schneider arrived in Manila on Sunday, June 22 from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia for a two-night concert at the SMX Center, SM Mall of Asia in Pasay City on June 25 and 26. (READ: Sam Tsui, Kurt Hugo Schneider: From schoolmates to superstars)
Manila is the second stop of their Asian tour, with performances scheduled in Singapore, Hong Kong, Beijing, Shanghai, and Taipei next.
The duo gained more widespread popularity 2009, when their performance of a Michael Jackson medley went viral on YouTube, with 32 million viewers to date, along with a video of Sam performing a cover of Journey's "Don't Stop Believing." This gave them the opportunity to perform on TV shows such as The Ellen DeGeneres Show and The Oprah Winfrey Show.

Some of the other songs they've covered include Taylor Swift's "Safe and Sound," as well as a well-received cover of Nelly's "Just a Dream," with singer Christina Grimmie. They've since embarked on their own projects while continuing to work together.

In a recent phone interview with Rappler, Sam and Kurt said that they are excited to come to Manila. Sam said they have an amazing fan base in the country, making them decide to hold a two night concert for the fans.
Prior to becoming YouTube sensations, the two who were also schoolmates at Yale, where Sam studied Classical Greek, and Kurt took up Mathematics.
