FORGIVE AND FORGET. Cherie Gil says sorry to the comedian during her guesting on 'It's Showtime.' Photo from Instagram
MANILA, Philippines - All is well between comedian Vice Ganda and Cherie Gil.
In an interview with The Buzz, Sunday, October 26, Vice said that Gil's apology during their performance last Friday on It's Showtime came as a surprise. "Wala akong ini-expect na may apology na magaganap. Wala dahil ang expect ko lang is the comment will be about the performance itself. At alam ko lang na may issue kami." (I did not expect that an apology will be made. All that I was expecting was a comment about the performance itself. And I know that we have an issue.)
"She didn’t have to apologize naman because hindi naman ako na-offend sa sinabi niya. Syempre lahat naman ng mga tao may kanya-kanyang perceptions and judgements sa bawat isa. Nabasa ko pa ngana what other people say about you or how people treat you is not your karma. How you react to them is your karma." (I was not offended by what she said. Of course everyone will have their perceptions and judgments on each other.)
