In an interview with Pep during the press conference of his new teleserye Second Chances, Raymart said it is impossible for the two of them to be together again after all they went through.
“A, yun, wala nang chance yun. Wala nang second chance yun,” Raymart said. (Ah that, no more already. No second chance anymore.)
Raymart, however, said that being friends with his ex-wife is a possibility.
The actor said that for 2015, he wishes that the legal problems between him and Claudine be resolved and that he can see his two children, Sabina and Santino.
“Well, sana, gusto ko namang maayos ang mga gusot. [...] Yun ang ipinagdarasal ko, na makita ko naman ang mga anak ko,” Raymart said. (Well I want everything to be settled. That's what I'm praying for, to see my children.)
Asked about how he was coping, he said that he couldn't say he was happy since things are incomplete.
"Makikita niyong masaya ako minsan, pero sa loob, medyo malungkot ako. [...] Lalo na sa mga anak ko...Siyempre, hoping na maayos, pero hindi naging ganun. So hindi rin ganun kasaya," he said. (You will see me happy but deep inside I still feel a bit sad, especially with my children... Of course I want everything to be okay but it did not go the way I expected. So I'm not really that happy.)
Raymart and Claudine separated in 2013 after Claudine accused him of physical violence. Raymart denied the accusation and has since been involved in a court battle with Claudine regarding their marriage and the custody for their children.(READ: Claudine Barretto speaks out about robbery charges)
