Cherie Gil wins at Madrid Film Festival
MANILA, Philippines – Cherie Gil won the award for Best Lead Actress in a Foreign Language Film at the 2015 Madrid Film Festival for her work in the movie Mana (The Inheritance).

“Happy!!!! And proud! Thank you so much MADRID international film festival! Ralphie!!!! We done it! Again!! Gabriel Fernandez thank you so much for this GIFT of a film. And of course to La SALLE St Benilde and to all the students who were part of #mana! We will always have Madrid !!” Cherie wrote.
Mana also won Best Film, a top prize at the Madrid IFF.

Director Gabriel Fernandez and Cherie went to Spain for the occasion.
