MANILA, Philippines – Looks like things are going well for actress Claudine Barretto. Claudine, who is starring in the upcoming movie Etiquette for Mistresses to be directed by Chito Roño, celebrated her 36th birthday with her parents, family and sister Marjorie, with whom she had public feud in the past.
On Instagram, Claudine posted photos from her birthday dinner. In one photo she was seen with sister Marjorie. In another photos, she was seen hugging her nieces – Dani, Claudia, and Julia.
Dani Barretto, Marjorie's eldest daughter also posted a photo from the celebration. The two also had a misunderstanding in the past.
Marjorie also posteda photo of her and Claudine with a message.
Last March, it looked like the relationship with Claudine and Marjorie was starting to improve, particularly at Julia's 18th birthday party. In an interview, Marjorie said that it has been long since she and her sister talked with each other.
Claudine told The Buzz that she and Marjorie were civil with each other after the party.
Marjorie and Claudine faced conflict in the past years, particularly when Marjorie, along with sister Gretchen and brother Jayjay, sided with Claudine’s estranged husband Raymart Santiago over Claudine’s alleged use of drugs in 2013. Although she and Gretchen have yet to patch things up, Claudine said that she and Raymart are now okay with each other, united in their goal to be good parents for their kids. – Rappler.com
