Katrina Llegado finishes as 5th runner-up in Reina Hispanoamericana 2019

MANILA, Philippines – Philippine bet Katrina Llegado finished as 5th runner-up during the Reina Hispanoamericana 2019 competition on Sunday, February 9 (Saturday, Febraury 8).

Katrina placed 7th overall among the Top 11 in the pageant.

Mexico's Regina Peredo Gutierrez won Reina Hispanoamericana, succeeding last year's winner Nariman Battikha of Venezuela.

The competition was originally scheduled in November but had to be moved because of the political unrest in Bolivia.

The Philippines has only won the crown once, courtesy of Teresita "Winwyn" Marquez in 2017. – Rappler.com
