PAGASA to hold free planetarium shows, stargazing, telescope sessions

MANILA, Philippines – The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) is celebrating National Astronomy Week during the 3rd week of February with this year's theme, "A New Decade of Opportunities in Philippine Astronomy."
From February 16 to 22, PAGASA will be hosting free planetarium shows from 8 am to 5 pm at the PAGASA Planetarium, Science Garden, Agham Road, Diliman, Quezon City.
Free stargazing and telescope sessions will also be held at 7 pm every night at the PAGASA Observatory in the U.P. Diliman compound.
Events will be on a first-come, first-served basis.
There will also be free mobile planetarium shows in Baguio City from February 20 to 21 and an astronomy seminar/workshop for public school science teachers on February 20. – Rappler.com
