MANILA, Philippines - Running out of ideas on where to go and what to do next week with your friends or loved ones? Here are a few events happening in the coming week:
Ventriloquy
Ony Carcamo, Wanlu, and Ruther Urquia will be performing for Venthrilla in Manila at the Cultural Center of the Philippines (CCP) Tanghalang Huseng Batute on August 16 at 7:30 pm and August 17 at 3 pm and 7:30 pm.
The live puppet show will feature fun and usually educational, ventriloquism segments using Manila’s famous landmarks such as Luneta, University Belt, Quiapo, and Divisoria, among others, as backdrops. For more information, you can call the CCP Box Office at 832-3704.

Dance
Also at the CCP, Ballet Philippines will be performing a classic tale of love and tragedy. Giselle will be staged from August 16 to 18.

Movies
A couple of movies will be opening this week in cinemas nationwide:
In case you missed it at the Cinemalaya, Ekstra will be hitting commercial theaters this coming August 14.

Kick-Ass, Hit Girl, along with new superhero friends will be returning to the big screen as the sequel to the 2010 superhero action comedy. It will also be released in theater s on August 14.

Owen Wilson and Vince Vaughn star in a comedy about two guys who land internships in Google. The Internship hits theaters in Manila also on August 14.

Concerts
Linkin Park will be coming back to Manila for their Living Things World Tour on August 13 at the Mall of Asia Arena. Ticket information is available here.

Also making a come back to Manila is the duo behind the 80s hits, "Here I Am," "All Out of Love," and "Goodbye." Air Supply will be performing at the Grand Ballroom of Solaire Resort and Casino on August 13. More information available here.
