MANILA, Philippines – It was a golden occasion – and a fiery one, too.

The glamorous color appeared to be one of the most prominent at the 2014 Bb Pilipinas national costume competition held on March 6 at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.

The competition was one of two runway shows, which gave Bb Pilipinas candidates a chance to show off their personalities.

The casual wear JAG fashion show was a more relaxed show, but the drama kicked into high gear when the ladies emerged during the second show wearing elaborate costumes, as the crowd cheered on.

After the initial presentation to the public, the talent show, and the swimwear press presentation, the fashion show serves as another major event leading up to the grand coronation night on March 30, also at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.
