VLOG: Cebuano voter dies as she waits in line to vote

CEBU CITY, Philippines – A 46-year old woman died of cardiac arrest before she could cast her vote in Cebu City on Monday, May 9.

Teresita Tagalog Tanieza, a resident of Barangay Carreta, was waiting in line to vote at Carreta Elementary School when she suddenly collapsed at around 7:30 am.

According to PO2 Marlon Gonzalez of Police Station 3, police immediately called the Emergency Medical Services and rushed Tanieza to the hospital where she was declared dead on arrival.
