MANILA, Philippines - The birth of an endangered animal brings great joy to wildlife conservationists.
At the Crococodile Park in Pasay City, a caretaker showed a newly-hatched Philippine crocodile to photographer Arcel Cometa.
The Philippine crocodile is also known as the Mindoro crocodile or the Philippine freshwater crocodile. The reptile, which can only be found in the country, is facing extinction.
