TACLOBAN CITY, Philippines - On the eve of the second anniversary of Super Typhoon Yolanda (international name Haiyan) Tacloban City Mayor Alfred Romualdez unveiled the M/V Eva Jocelyn, one of four ships that ran aground on the Anibong coast on the morning of November 8, 2013.
The vessel, cut in half and encased in concrete, will serve as a memorial for the thousands who died, among them coastal residents faced with 7-meter storm surges.
