#2030NOW, #HackSociety trend during 2017 Social Good Summit
MANILA, Philippines – How do you want the world to be in 2030?
Rappler, in partnership with the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), spearheaded the annual Social Good Summit in the Philippines for the 6th time. With the theme: "Innovate with Purpose: Leave No One Behind," it challenged everyone to examine the purpose of innovation.
Also included in this summit is a two-day ideathon which focused on crowdsourcing innovative solutions to today's social problems. With more than 60 speakers, panelists, mentors, and judges, the summit focused on answering critical questions on how we can achieve our vision toward social good.

#2030NOW and #HackSociety became consistent trending topics in the Philippines from September 14 to 16.
#2030NOW peaked at the 5th spot during the afternoon session on September 16. #SocialGoodSummit was also among the trending topics in the Philippines.
The participants at Samsung Hall, SM Aura Premier, were all hopeful and eager as the program kicked off with Atom Araullo and Natashya Gutierrez onstage.

Based on analytics tool TweetReach, hashtags #2030NOW and #HackSociety reached more than 8.6 million people on Twitter from September 14 to 16, gathering over 1.2 billion potential impressions.
On September 16 alone, the summit's culminating day, the hashtags generated over 890 million impressions from over 1,000 unique contributors.
Overall, the event gathered 4,674 tweets, with Rappler, UN Foundation, UNDP, plus_socialgood among the leading users during the online discussion.
