3 dead, 4 wounded in Pagadian truck accident
PAGADIAN CITY, Philippines – Three people died while 4 others were injured on Tuesday, March 8, in an accident involving a 6-wheeler truck.
At around 2:30 am, a Mitsubishi truck driven by Alexander Yubal and with plate number LFG-797, lost control after its brakes supposedly malfunctioned.
The truck then hit a coconut tree, throwing some of its passengers off the vehicle. Three passengers, including one identified as Elenita Perez, died on the spot.
Three other passengers were brought to Zamboanga del Sur Medical Center, while one was sent to Jamelarin Hospital. – Rappler.com
