Rappler Talk: Emerging opportunities for OFWs under Duterte administration

MANILA, Philippines – The Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) recently announced that there will soon be 100,000 jobs for overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) in Japan.

Rappler's Patty Pasion sat down with Labor Undersecretary Bernard Olalia to discuss these new opportunities and other emerging markets for OFWs. Olalia served as the officer-in-charge of the Philippine Overseas Employment Administration (POEA).

The DOLE official also gave updates on the release of the guidelines for the anticipated OFW ID and other labor-related matters. – Rappler.com
