IN PHOTOS: Edgardo Angara's Baler homecoming
MANILA, Philippines – The remains of former Senate president Edgardo Angara arrived in his hometown, Baler, Aurora, on Saturday, May 19.
Angara's remains were transported by a C295 military plane from Villamor Airbase in Pasay City, Members of his family, led by his wife, Gloria Manalang-Angara, with son Senator Juan Edgardo "Sonny" Angara, and others, received him in Baler.

There will be a 3-day wake in Barangay Reserva, where residents can pay their final respects to the oustanding son of Baler, according to the office of the late lawmaker's son, Senator Juan Edgardo "Sonny" Angara, who was also in Baler.
Angara will be laid to rest on Tuesday, May 22.
