24 Mimaropa police chiefs fired for underperforming in anti-drug campaign

MANILA, Philippines – Following the strict leadership of Philippine National Police (PNP) chief Director General Oscar Albayalde, Mimaropa regional police director Chief Superintendent Emmanuel Licup sacked 24 local police chiefs.
Announcing the move in a statement, the PNP said Licup sacked 24 chiefs and officers-in-charge "due to no/low performance" in their anti-drug campaign.
