LIVE: JBC interviews candidates for Supreme Court justice | June 14, 2018
MANILA, Philippines – The Judicial and Bar Council (JBC) interviews candidates vying for the Supreme Court (SC) slot that will be vacated by Associate Justice Presbitero Velasco Jr, who is retiring on August 8.
The JBC interviewed on Thursday, June 14, only 6 out of the 12, because the rest had already been previously interviewed.
The 6 are:
- CA Associate Justice Oscar Badelles
- CA Associate Justice Ramon Garcia
- CA Associate Justice Manuel Barrios
- CA Associate Justice Amy Lazaro Javier
- Davao Judge Carlos Espero II
- Former Ateneo Law School dean Cesar Villanueva
