EDSA bus accident leaves 12 injured, causes gridlock
MANILA, Philippines - Two buses were involved in an accident along EDSA at the height of the rush hour Wednesday, February 6, leaving 12 injured and worsening the daily traffic jam in the highway.
A Ralph Benz bus (TXY 202) rear-ended a Precious Grace bus (UWC 397) after the driver of the former lost control of his vehicle at around 7:20 am, the Metro Manila Development Authority (MMDA) Metrobase said.
The accident occurred along the southbound lane near Buendia in Makati.
The victims, all passengers of the Precious Grace bus, sustained minor injuries, and were brought to the Ospital ng Makati for treatment.
