
For netizens, Cayetano wins round 3 of VP debate
3RD ROUND WINNER. Netizens pick Senator Alan Peter Cayetano as the winner in the third round of the vice presidential debate.
MANILA, Philippines – Senator Alan Peter Cayetano maintains his winning streak among netizens, garnering the most number of votes on the Rappler online poll.
Of the total votes, Cayetano obtained 47.62%. Camarines Sur Representative Leni Robredo came in second with 35.71%.
Senator Ferdinand Marcos Jr, who has been taking the heat over the alleged ill-gotten wealth of his family, obtained 14.76%.
The other 3 candidates trail far behind: Senator Francis Escudero with 1.43% and Senator Antonio Trillanes IV with 0.48%. Senator Gringo Honasan did not get any votes.
Cayetano, Robredo, and Marcos have been consistently in the top 3 among netizens' votes, while the other 3 candidates have consistently gotten only single-digit figures.
