DAVAO CITY, Philippines – For 3 decades, Rodrigo Duterte served Davao City as mayor, vice mayor, and congressman. In less than 30 days, he will be sworn in as the 16th president of the Philippines.

Before that, however, the city he has served will hold a thanksgiving party in his honor on Saturday, June 4.
