
Even Duterte allies in Senate race want bulletins on his health

MANILA, Philippines – Eight Senate bets, including the President's allies, said in a televised forum on Sunday, December 2, that they want President Rodrigo Duterte to authorize medical bulletins about his health.
The following senatorial aspirants voted "yes" when asked in CNN Philippines' senatorial forum, "Should the President authorize the issuance of medical bulletins about his health?":
- Magdalo Representative Gary Alejano
- Senator Paolo Benigno "Bam" Aquino IV
- Ronald "Bato" dela Rosa
- Jose Manuel "Chel" Diokno
- Senator Joseph Victor "JV" Ejercito
- Juan Ponce Enrile
- Sergio Osmeña III
- Francis Tolentino

Malacañang said there is no need for medical bulletins about Duterte's health, even as the 1987 Constitution states that the public must be kept informed if the President has a serious illness. – Rappler.com
