Metro Manila temperature reaches 36.3°C

MANILA, Philippines – The temperature in Metro Manila rose to 36.3°C at 3 pm on Tuesday, April 12, according to state weather bureau PAGASA.

This is the highest temperature in Metro Manila for 2016, so far. Previously, the highest in the metro for the year was the 35.7°C recorded on Friday, April 8, and Monday, April 11.

PAGASA also said in its latest bulletin that isolated rains are expected in the Visayas and Mindanao on Wednesday, April 13.

These isolated rains are due to the easterlies or winds blowing from the east. Affected areas include Iloilo, Bacolod, Cebu, Leyte, Cagayan de Oro, Bukidnon, Davao, and Zamboanga.

Coastal waters throughout the country will only be slight to moderate, while winds will be light to moderate.
