MANILA, Philippines – Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have isolated thunderstorms on Sunday, June 24, according to state weather bureau PAGASA.
In its 24-hour bulletin on Saturday afternoon, June 23, PAGASA said it will be partly cloudy to cloudy across the country, with scattered rainshowers due to localized thunderstorms.
The ridge of a high pressure area is affecting Northern and Central Luzon.
PAGASA also warned of possible flash floods or landslides due to light to moderate to at times heavy rains.
PAGASA has issued separate thunderstorm advisories for Metro Manila and nearby provinces, Southern Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao on Saturday.
Coastal waters will be moderate to rough in the northern section of Northern Luzon, while it will be slight to moderate in the rest of the country.
