LPA spotted off Davao Oriental

MANILA, Philippines – A low pressure area (LPA) was spotted Saturday afternoon in the vicinity of Davao Oriental embedded along the Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ) affecting Palawan, Visayas and Mindanao, weather bureau PAGASA said on Saturday, July 27.
In its 5 pm update, PAGASA also said the Bicol Region, as well as Visayas and Mindanao, will experience cloudy skies with moderate to heavy rainshowers and thunderstorms for the next 24 hours.
Heavy rains may trigger flashfloods and landslides in these areas.
Meanwhile, Metro Manila, CALABARZON, and MIMAROPA will have cloudy skies with light to moderate showers and thunderstorms. The rest of Luzon will be partly cloudy to cloudy, with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms. – Rappler.com
