The Revillas visit Manny Pacquiao
MANILA, Philippines – A little less than two months ago, Cavite Vice Governor Ramon "Jolo" Revilla III made headlines for a self-inflicted gunshot wound on his right chest.
Revilla, the son of incarcerated senator and actor Ramon "Bong" Revilla Jr, was put under intensive care. Later, when he was already well enough to speak, the younger Revilla dismissed talks of a suicide attempt, and said it was a mere "accident."
He returned to work on March 28, a month after his "accident."
Now, Revilla seems to be in better, higher spirits as he flew to the United States with mother Lani Mercado, son Gab, and girlfriend Jodi Sta. Maria on April 15. Earlier, Mercado, a colleague of Manny Pacquiao in the House of Representatives, told the press that her son would be flying for a medical check-up.
But the Revillas, along with some close family friends, also made time to pay the champion boxer, PacMan, a visit.
