Cyprus investigators searching for victims of a suspected serial killer recovered on June 4, 2019 a third suitcase thought to contain the remains of a Filipina woman at the bottom of the man-made Red Lake out of the village of Mitsero, southwest of the Cypriot capital Nicosia . A Greek Cypriot army officer is in custody since April 2019 after reportedly confessing to murdering five foreign women and two of their daughters in a string of killings that have left the Mediterranean holiday island in shock.
