Months before Rodrigo Duterte s overwhelming victory as president we got a glimpse of a drug den and saw how one man working with different support groups is trying to save lives

The Dangerous Drugs Board describes the typical drug user as male, between the ages of 20-29. He has finished high school, is employed and married. The most commonly used drugs are shabu, marijuana and inhalants (contact cement). This is according to a 2012 Household Survey on the Nature and Extent of Drug Use in the Philippines conducted by the Dangerous Drugs Board and the Philippine Normal University.
