IN PHOTOS: Typhoon Soudelor from space
MANILA, Philippines -The International Space Station (ISS) spotted Typhoon Soudelor from space on Wednesday, August 5.
The images posted from NASA's Flickr and social media accounts show the size of the typhoon that is travelling at 160 kp/h in the Western Pacific. (READ: Typhoon Soudelor approaches PH's northern edge)
Typhoon Soudelor is 2015's most powerful storm so far. It slammed into the Northern Marianas before heading toward Taiwan, China, and Japan. The typhoon did not make landfall in the Philippines, but entered the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) on Wednesday, August 5.
