Pope Francis kisses Palace babies
MANILA, Philippines - It's yet another day for the young on the second day of Pope Francis' visit to the Philippines.
After arrival honors for him at the grounds of Malacañang, Pope Francis kissed babies – at least 3 – brought to him by Palace guards and employees. The scene sent the crowd cheering and clapping.
Pope Francis arrived at Malacañang at 9:25 am for a meeting with President Benigno Aquino III. Two other toddlers also went to Francis for a hug.
On Thursday, January 15, upon his arrival from Sri Lanka, the Pope was also met by two children who gave him flowers – a scene caught on camera and which touched viewers. – Rappler.com
