MANILA, Philippines - Brook Lopez could be on his way to making the cover of Posterized magazine after Los Angeles Laker Larry Nance Jr rocked him back and nearly rode his back to the rim.

The second-year Laker leapt from the dotted line in the third quarter of their game on Wednesday, December 14 (Thursday Manila time) and directly challenged the Brooklyn Nets' 7-footer. Unfortunately for Lopez, Nance has more hops than a box of frogs, and Nance proceeded to throw the ball through the hoop with brutal efficiency.

The one-handed slam was so violent it made the Nets bench recoil and the crowd come alive in an otherwise ho-hum game between two struggling squads.

A dunk only counts for two points though and the Lakers shot poorly otherwise (38.5%) as the Nets won on their homecourt, 107-97. – Rappler.com
