MANILA, Philippines – Rookie Lonzo Ball led the Los Angeles Lakers to the quarterfinals of the Las Vegas Summer League championship after edging the Cleveland Cavaliers, 94-83, through another impressive triple-double on Thursday, July 13 (Friday Manila time).
After an underwhelming debut, Ball bagged his second triple-double in the league as he ended the game with 16 points, 10 rebounds and 12 assists.
Ball connected on 6-of-20 attempts and also showcased some of his moves as he drove to the baseline for a reverse layup.
The 19-year-old Ball also landed in the highlights when he stole the ball and finished with a wide-open dunk.

Also notable is that Ball has not been wearing his Big Baller Brand ZO2s, opting for a pair of James Hardens against the Cavs and a pair of Kobe Bryants in a victory against the Boston Celtics on Wednesday.
The Lakers will face the Brooklyn Nets next in the quarterfinals on Saturday, 10 pm. – Rappler.com
