MANILA, Philippines - History has been made.

The San Miguel Beermen dug themselves out of a 0-3 hole to defeat the Alaska Aces in 7 games to win the 2016 PBA Philippine Cup championship on Wednesday, February 3 at Mall of Asia Arena.

Chris Ross, who led the Beermen with 21 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists, was named the PH Cup Finals MVP of the franchise's 22nd championship.
