PBA D-League: Tanduay Light, Cafe France rack up wins
MANILA, Philippines – The Tanduay Light Rhum Masters and Cafe France Bakers came away with victories during the PBA D-League Aspirants Cup games on Thursday, December 18, at the Ynares Sports Arena.
Tanduay Light pushes winning streak to three
The Tanduay Light Rhum Masters won their third straight game on defeating Racal Motors, 70-59.
Aljon Mariano led the way for the winning side with 21 points while Adrian Santos and Gab Banal pitched in 11 points apiece.
Mariano scored 12 of his total output in the first quarter, where Tanduay established a 14 point lead after 10 minutes of play. The team held on to their lead the rest of the way, and cruised to an easy victory to improve their record to .500 at 4-4.
Racal is now 2-5 in their last 7 games and was a two-man show against Tanduay. Raffy Reyes put up 22 points in the loss while Raymond Jamito registered 16. The next best scorer was John Ortouste, who put up just 4 points.

Sedurifa's impressive outing leads Cafe France past Bread Story-Lyceum
The Cafe France Bakers leaned on the strong play of Joseph Sedurifa, who finished with 32 points and 12 rebounds, to defeat Bread Story-Lyceum, 88-74, on Thursday.
The win improved the record of Cafe-France to 6-2, while Bread Story fell to 2-5.
The Bakers led by 14 at the conclusion of the first quarter, 30-16, and took a 46-37 advantage at the half. But due to their poor offense in the third period, Bread Story-Lyceum was able to mount a comeback and tied the contest at 62-all entering the final quarter.
Sedurifa scored 11 points in the fourth period, including hitting the critical 3-ball that shifted momentum back to his team's side. A four-point conversion by Rod Ebondo, who put up 13 points total, later created more breathing room for Cafe France, paving the way for the win.
Maverick Ahanmisi also pitched in for the winning side by totaling 12 markers.
Joseph Gabayni spearheaded Bread Story-Lyceum with 19 points.
