Viloria, Vazquez weigh-in for flyweight battle

MANILA, Philippines - Former two-division champion Brian Viloria and his opponent Armando Vazquez hit the scales on Friday afternoon, December 5 ahead of their clash on Sunday at the Civic Auditorium in Glendale, Calif.
Viloria (34-4, 20 knockouts) weighed 112.4 pounds, while Vazquez (21-11, 4 KOs) weighed 111.2 for the ten-round bout, which will be promoted by Top Rank and televised in the United States by Spanish language channel Unimas beginning at 11 p.m. ET/PT on Saturday.

The Filipino-American Viloria of Waipahu, Hawaii is seeking his third straight win since losing his unified flyweight titles to Juan Francisco Estrada in 2013. Vazquez of Mexicali, Mexico is coming off a loss to Alexis Diaz in August at the 105-pound limit.
Viloria's manager Gary Gittelsohn has stated he wants a rematch with Estrada, plus bouts with RING flyweight champ Roman Gonzalez and Chinese prospect Zou Shiming in 2015. - Rappler.com
