DAVAO, Philippines - The combatants for Pinoy Pride 29 will save the drama for the ring after all parties made weight successfully for Saturday night’s fights at the USEP Gym in Davao City.

Junior welterweight Jason Pagara (34-2, 21 knockouts) of Cagayan de Oro weighed in two pounds under the limit at 138 while his opponent Cesar Chavez (24-7, 12 KOs) was a pound heavier at 139.
Genesis Servania (25-0, 11 KOs) of Bacolod City and Juan Luis Hernandez (17-3-1, 9 KOs) both weighed 121 pounds for their twelve-round contest. Servania is fighting to preserve his number one contender ranking with the WBO in the junior featherweight division while Hernandez is fighting for just the second time following a four-year layoff.
Junior flyweight Arthur Villanueva (26-0, 14 KOs) checked in at the 115 pound limit while former WBO flyweight champion Julio Cesar “Pingo” Miranda was a half pound under at 114.5.
